Sam Edelman’s story is quintessentially American. From simple beginnings and hard work, he used his entrepreneurial spirit to pursue a design passion for shoes. Being a horse lover, Sam launched his career by applying his equestrian love to a shoe line for Ralph Lauren. Over the years, he traversed many ups and downs in the fashion business, always persevering and following his intuition to re-invent himself. Mission Oak has a similar vibe, from humble beginnings as a workhorse material utilized for industrial shipping, it has been reclaimed and turned into beautiful flooring and paneling. Two new Sam Edelman stores feature reclaimed Mission Oak Engineered material throughout, setting an Americana tone and stage to display a classic shoe line.
