IA (Interior Architects), the global firm of architects and designers, was tasked with designing a space that combined two separate companies — H-E-B and Favor Delivery in Austin, TX — under one roof. After doing a deep dive into both companies' history and culture, they settled on a commonality, Texas, to create a space infused with local art, materials, and all-things Texas. As a species local to Texas, TerraMai's Wide Plank Hickory was selected and is featured through out from the vestibule ceiling to the reception desk to the stairs and more, while also earning points toward LEED credits.
