The Leadership in Engery and Environmental Design
(LEED) program is the nationally accepted rating system for sustainable
building.
The program is administered by the U.S. Green Buidling
Council (USGBC). TerraMai has been a USGBC member since 2003.
All TerraMai products can help a project earn LEED
credits. Which credits, specifically, depends on the product and
the project.
All TerraMai solid-wood products are eligible for
MR 4 (materials reuse).
TerraMai’s engineered flooring products are
also eligible for MR 4, MR 7 (certified woods), and EQ 4.4 (low-emitting
materials).
A TerraMai account manager can offer guidance regarding
reclaimed wood products and LEED credits on a specific project.

TerraMai is also a member of the U.S. Green Building
Council (USGBC), which developed the LEED program. For more information
