Greenheart is a dense tropical hardwood indigenous to Guyana and Venezuela. The heartwood ranges from a dark black, to olive green, to a light golden hue and will polish to a smooth lustrous surface. This extremely durable wood was used in marine construction, bridges and industrial flooring. These rare 10 x 12” beams were salvaged from a naval shipyard in South America and make a spectacular lifetime trellis or stunning interior beams.
