great buys » tropical gold "shorties" flooring

This inventory of Tropical Gold “shorties” comes from the same material used to create our standard Tropical Gold flooring. Our Tropical Gold flooring has a warm golden hue distinct from other hardwoods. Oxide stains, seasoning checks and spike holes testify to this material’s unique history. Tropical Gold is comprised of a variety of exotic hardwood species reclaimed from antique, un-treated railway ties from Southeast Asia. These woods were originally selected for their extreme hardness and ability to weather the most punishing tropical conditions. This material consists of random widths of up to 5” wide and random lengths of up to 3-1/2’ long. This closeout inventory is a one-time bargain at $7.50 per square foot.
