Product Description: TerraMai’s Tropical Blond flooring is a beautiful and durable tropical hardwood. This highly versatile floor consists of mellow gold, cream and caramel color tones, lightly interspersed with small scars from the wood’s previous life as a working rubber tree. Our Tropical Blond flooring is made from “orchard salvage" material from the rubber tree plantations of Asia. After about 25 years of producing latex for the rubber industry, the production of these trees begins to decline. They are then culled and replaced. These culled trees get new life as our solid-wood Tropical Blond flooring.

Species: Hevea brasiliensis.

Colors: Mellow golds, creams and caramels.

Millwork: Tongue & groove, end-matched, back-relieved, under-center matched and finger-jointed (maximum 4 pieces per 6’ length) and sanded to 180 grit.

Standard Dimensions: 5/8" thick X 3-1/2" net face width X 6’ long.

Character: Prefilled tapping holes, oxide stains, prefilled surface seasoning checks and occasional sound, tight knots.

Finish: Comes unfinished or prefinished.

Installation: Install per National Oak Flooring Manufacturers Association (NOFMA) guidelines.
