Product Description:
TerraMai’s Tropical Gold flooring has a warm golden hue distinct
from other hardwoods. Oxide stains, seasoning checks and spike holes
imbue our Tropical Gold with unique history and character. TerraMai’s
Tropical Gold is comprised of Keledang, Balau, Giam, Chengal and
other species reclaimed from antique, untreated, tropical hardwood
railway ties, mine timbers and building demolition in Southeast
Asia. These woods were originally selected for their extreme hardness
and ability to last many decades in the most punishing tropical
conditions. These gorgeous, durable old-growth hardwoods now get
a second life as part of our Tropical Gold flooring.
